This study was to develop a radiation sterilized polypropylene/ethylene-propylene diene monomer (PP/EPDM) binary blends using melt blending and the mechanical properties of were studied. The PP/EPDM prepared in ratios 80:20, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60 20:80. then compressed for 12 minutes Hot Cold Press machine cut into 1mm, 3mm 6mm thickness tensile test, impact hardness test Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy analysis. results showed that higher EPDM content more elastic had better energy absorption compared lower ratio blends. With introduction 100kGy dose, performed Young modulus with crosslinking formed within molecules. Among blends, 20:80 best both physical properties. blend suitable medical devices.
